Major League Baseball’s official website ‘MLB.com ‘ announced candidates for the 2025 Hall of Fame.
To qualify for the Hall of Fame, the players are retired five years later, and Ichiro will be qualified with CC Sabathia in 2025.
Fourteen people are Ichiro Suzuki, C.C. Sabathia, Dustin Pedroia, Felix Hernandez, Carlos Gonzalez, Curtis Granderson, Adam Jones, Ian Kinsler, Russell Martin, Brian McCann, Henry Ramirez, Fernando Rodney, Troy Tulowitzki and Ben Zobrist.
Among them, Ichiro stands out the most. Since his big league debut with the Seattle Mariners in 2001, Ichiro has played in 2,653 games and posted a batting average of 311 (3,089 hits in 9,934 times at bat), 117 homers, 780 RBIs, and OPS.757. He became the first Japanese player to win the MVP and Rookie of the Year award at the same time in 2001, and was named an All-Star for 10 times.
In terms of performance, Ichiro will almost certainly join the Hall of Fame. He will be the first Asian player to join the 토토사이트 League Hall of Fame. Japanese pitcher Hideo Nomo (2014) and batter Hideki Matsui (2018) were nominated, but they only garnered around 1 percent of approval ratings.
Chances are high that Sabathia will join the league. Since debuting in the Big League in 2001, Sabathia has posted 251 wins and 161 losses and an earned run average of 3.74 in 561 games. Sabathia, who made impressions by garnering 17 wins and five losses in her first year since debut, achieved double-digit wins for eight consecutive years until 2008. She had 21 wins (seven losses) in 2010, setting a new record of most wins in a single season and eight seasons in which she garnered more than 15 wins.
He won the American League Cy Young Award in 2007 and was named an All-Star six times. Mariano Rivera, Roy Hall of Fame, and Mike Musina were the last pitchers to be inducted into the Major League Hall of Fame in 2019. Sabathia will challenge for the honor for the first time in six years.
Meanwhile, candidates for the Hall of Fame will be judged by the BBWAA Selection Committee on players who have played in the Major League for at least 10 years and have not played in the Major League for the last five years. The nomination will be announced in January next year.
